Liberated Kids is a community and learning center that is committed to providing a self-directed educational (SDE) environment for homeschoolers, ages 5-15, in unceded Ohlone land, aka Oakland, that cultivates holistic growth, where children lead their own learning journeys and embrace their authenticity. We strive to be a safe and inclusive space where BIPOC, QT-BIPOC and BIPOC neurospicy voices and experiences are centered with engaged facilitators, families and community members as guides and co-learners.

We are a group of homeschooling families who are striving to support each other by sharing child care and other resources while trying to work to afford life in the bay area. The space centers BIPOC children and families. Self-Directed Education is the foundation of how we hold the space.
